After picking up some andoullie sausage at the Madison farmers market Saturday, I decided to whip up some homemade jambalaya. Scott had never had the real thing – only stuff out of a box. To go with it, I picked up some shrimp at Sam’s Club that were bigger than my hand … no joke. Look:
See, I wasn’t kidding. But they were SOOO tasty. Cooked in a little (ok, a stick) of butter and a couple cloves of garlic and they practically melted. The finished dish:
Just in time to watch LSU win the National Title.
