It’s December in Wisconsin … and we’ve got yet another snowstorm. Surprised? Yeah, me neither. But, this snowstorm did make me realize quite a few things I”m grateful for …
… that I live in Wisconsin and about 75% of the population actually know how to drive in snow.
… snow plow drivers! Especially the ones who take such great care of our highways. The guys that do the city streets … well, they’re ok.
… the utter beauty of freshly fallen snow on a lake … It’s so peaceful and serene.
… the fact that I work at night and there are significantly less drivers on the road to witness my drifting amongst three snow-covered lanes because of the 40 mph gusts from the west.
…. watching the snow wisps float across the highway in an eerily spooky fashion.
… discovering the fun of plowing through snow drifts and slolaming through the city streets of Oshkosh.
And finally … arriving home safely to my three boys.
Oh, and let’s not forget the Bears … God bless Lovie Smith and the Bears for kickin’ Packer butt!!!
